Questions

Before you listen.

I have never done Dictation of Sums before.
It starts from easy questions and you can listen as many times as you like, so beginners can start with confidence.
Do I need a soroban?
No soroban appears on screen. Use a real one in your hands or work it in your head.
How is subtraction read?
"Minus" comes in front of a number to take away, and "and" before the last one. Anything without either is added.
Is it a real person reading?
It is a synthesised voice. Japanese uses VOICEVOX's Chubu Tsurugi; the other ten languages each have a voice of their own.
Which languages does it read in?
Eleven: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and Italian.

※ The menu lists Dictation of Sums in the app's display language and in English. Other languages appear once the app is set to that language.
