These terms apply to the use of the materials (diagram and image files) published in this collection.
Permitted uses
- The materials may be used free of charge by individuals, soroban schools, schools and companies alike. No registration is required.
- The materials may be used in worksheets, teaching materials, workbooks, books, flyers, posters, websites, social media, videos, slides, apps and similar works. Works created using the materials may be sold.
- The materials may be modified, including by changing their color, size or orientation, cropping parts of them, or combining them with other images or text.
- Attribution is not required when using the materials.
Prohibited uses
- Redistributing or selling the material files themselves, either unchanged or with only minor modifications (including distribution or sale as a clip art collection, template, sticker set, wallpaper or the like).
- Registering a logo or mark that uses the materials as a trademark.
- Use for any purpose that violates laws or regulations or public order and morals, or that defames others.
General provisions
- Copyright in the materials belongs to SIC Co., Ltd. These terms grant permission to use the materials free of charge.
- SIC Co., Ltd. accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage arising from the use of the materials.
- These terms may be revised as necessary. Revised terms take effect when they are posted on this page. Works created before a revision may continue to be used.

Questions about using the images
Can I use the images free of charge in a company flyer or in teaching materials that I sell?
Yes. They may be used free of charge in paid works as well, and there is no need to contact us. You may use them in a flyer recruiting students for your soroban school or in a workbook sold in bookshops, for example.
If I modify the images, may I distribute them as my own materials?
No. Modifications such as changing colors or cropping still count as redistributing the materials themselves. Once the materials have become part of a different work, such as a worksheet or a flyer, you may distribute that work.
May I use the images in lesson slides or videos and publish them?
Yes. You may publish them in slides, videos and on websites. Attribution is not required.
